This sale is for a vintage 1958-59 Franciscan Desert Rose service for 8. This set was a wedding gift in 1959 and has the backstamp which began in 1958--the brown "television" stamp. Pre-dates the England stamp. Made in USA. Set was in three boxes which were falling apart. Never been used. No signs of wear.Included are eight each of the dinner plates, dessert/salad plates, bread plates, and cups & saucers.
